Closed system

Another important aspect of the Newton-Euler model is that the system of bodies for which motions are modeled is closed, which means that no bodies other than those that are explicitly modeled can have any affect on the motions (imagine, for example, the effect if we forget to account for a black hole that is a few hundred meters away from the racquetball court).
